The part I had the most fun with was the background on the last panel. I like painterly landscapes. Or maybe it was just a long while since I painted anything that wasn’t cell-shaded.

My life seems to be filled with travels recently. Poland, Nagano, Osaka and… now it appears I’ll be flying to New York next Saturday. This was the only weekend since the end of April that I was able to spend at home and actually draw something outside the comic pages. So I spent most of the day working on the Historia project and creating some new sprites. It was fun! I want to do more of that! But sadly, there’s no time and there won’t be in the next two weekends sighh.
Flight from Tokyo to New York are absurdly long too. But I’ll be most likely writing Replay’s next chapter on the plane. I feel like I already saw most of the noteworthy plane movies on the stupidly long flight to and from Poland… What do you guys do on the plane? I can’t sleep at all during flights, it’s too loud and uncomfortable (I’m a picky sleeper).
Anyway, please enjoy the page and if you are Replay’s Patreon patron check out some sketches I did this evening – https://www.patreon.com/posts/sketches-27137662 If you’re not a patron, well, this post will become available on Thursday!
