This has been a somewhat tiring week and the next one will probably be no better haha We’re figuring out the move which means a lot of cleaning, throwing stuff out, and finding a moving company. First time doing in in Japan (I only had 2 suitcases worth of stuff when I was moving the last time, now I have furniture and appliances…). I also learned the hard way that Ikea furniture is considered unmovable in Japan. Nobody is willing to transport it unless you take it apart and put it back together yourself. Fun times.
Other than this, i finally finished my 1000 fixes and sent the novel I’m working on (current title: Beneath The Ice) to some beta readers… We’ll see what they say. I’m planning to draft an outline for the next story next week and then jump into the draft I completed last year but never actually edited. Very excited to work on something else (but also full of ideas for the sequel and prequel and…). Writing books is a lot of work and I might not be an amazing writer just yet, but I’m still having lots of fun doing it. Also, On the writer’s conference last week I met people who actually managed to be full-time writers which is pretty exciting. Not sure if you guys realize, but it’s not that easy to make a living writing books lol most writers still have regular jobs on top of it (or very supportive spouses). One day… one day…..
