Memories of rain 8

That’s it! End of the flashback.
I hope that you have at least a more interesting image of Robert in your heads now ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ

It’s too hot here in Tokyo right now.  Mr. Sun seems to be very determined to fry us all and is slowly succeeding. The most memorable thing this week was yet another fireworks festival. We secured a place so close to the launch site that I could actually feel the explosions in my chest. Very loud, equally beautiful. And I love how they just spread the blankets, sit around and go “やばい!” and “きれい!” throughout the whole thing, repeatedly. Much enthusiasm.

Hey, have you seen Suicide Squad? I heard mixed opinions. Not sure if I should be sad that I’ll probably miss it. On the bright side, I saw the first part of Kizumonogatari and I need to say it was much better than I had anticipated!

See you next week! (╯°□°)╯

Smooth Robert, the classic leave something behind so you have to see her again. I mean she has your umbrella, but covering your bases twice is a good safety measure!

I know, it’s cool! NI, you have a knack for transitions. Also, I enjoyed this flashback, You’re on top of your game.

Half of the time I still don’t know what I’m doing. Glad it’s working… Thanks!

That transition was enough to get me to open the comments and comment my agreement with this sentiment despite never having made a comment on this comic before. It’s a really cool effect.

Seems I underestimated the power of this mighty transition~! Thanks for reading and letting me know that you like it, always a pleasure 🙂

Seriously; the art in general for Replay is always great, but the i>transitions are always goddamn 10/10 god-tier.

Heh…Cinder-Robert, eh? Not really, since she knows where to find you and all…though I would like to know what’s on that paper that appears to be stuck under his blazer. Possibly the pentagram?

Aside from the stunning transition, I particularly like Ada’s tail in this one.
I’m not sure, is it frizzled because it’s wet, or is it frizzled because she’s excited? Really could be either. 🙂

Also, very nice timing on the rain letting up. 😛

He didn’t pick up the last sheet of paper (got too excited about the pentagram). And I tend to draw her tail like that when she’s upset/excited 😀

    Symbolism woho!
That umbrella looks freaking cute and completely impractical. There’s no way it could actually be comfortable holding it (then again, having a adorable rabbit in you hand might be comforting in its own way?)
    Also, love the transition 😀

Meanwhile upstairs among the various anthropomorphic deities: ‘What’s that he Likes the rain?!’ ‘Quick! Bring out the sun STAT!’

Also I saw suicide squad! It’s really based on your opinion if you like it or not I in fact liked it 8/10 but I do think it could be much better and a lot was cut out from the movie!

Thanks for letting me know! I see many people are disappointed but no one really dwells into the reasons why so I got kind of curious.

and I was totally wrong about Ada rejecting the umbrella. In my face 🙁

    Wait. Hold on…

They’re the same age?! I thought he was like… 10 years older than her or something at least!
