Just like chicken

I am seriously surprised that no one brought this up last week… Maybe it’s just me, immediately associating headless creatures with chickens… Might just be me ಠ_ಠ

A-anyway! We’ll be slowing down a little, last demon is down, our tired superheroes throw some lame jokes as they stroll through the empty part of the camp and it’s time to take a deep breath and think about the future. As it was already pointed out – they all have little chances of survival in this camp, with military not quite succeeding with their tasks and demons probably coming back for more… You do know what will save them, right? Oh I bet you do… ლ(o◡oლ)

If you haven’t noticed, I’ve changed the vote incentive~! New illustration has been also added to the gallery and is now available as a print! Maybe you’ll like it ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ I am slowly preparing a new set of merchandise awesome goodies (mostly because I want to have them myself he he he…) but that’s a secret for now~

Illustration I made as a thank you for Refugnic's short stories :)

See you next week!

UPDATE: I am trying things out with Twitter… Dunno how many of you use it, for me it’s a first time so I am a bit clumsy and also a tad lonely. Come and join! Say hello! ♡  https://twitter.com/ReplayComic

This was a fantastic page! I love the witty banter. You’re climbing up the ranks as one of my favorite webcomics. maybe 3rd or so (I follow about 30 plus or minus, and the two ahead have been around for more than 5 years), so quite the accomplishment. I look forward for more! very talented!

Are we going to have deus ex machina?(if you know what deus ex machina is you’ll get what I just did, also I don’t know shit about Latin so I probably spelled that wrong)

I really like their casualness about the whole thing. “Oh man, I can barely see. Let’s just take care of the funny demon and get back to our jokes.”

I was afraid it will turn out too silly, glad you enjoy the dialogue! (ノ・∀・)ノ

Well, it *does* feel a little strange how quickly they turned from being scared shitless to just slicing the things up casually… Though I guess a series of unexpectedly easy wins can do this to one?…

Not as scary when the teeth are all gone!
But yeah, the idea was that the demons died after one sword-hit which was very unexpected, given how much trouble those creatures gave to the soldiers.

If the sqying “you are what you eat” is true that means you can eat demon flesh and become a demon. Hypotheticaly.

My goal is to become an apricot ლ(╹◡╹ლ)
But seriously speaking, I wouldn’t really dare. It might be poisonous for all they know, radioactive, turn them into weird mutants… No, let’s just not eat the demon meat.

My Dad and I used to lop the heads off our chickens for supper decades ago and we would watch & see how long they’d run around till they stopped moving. Usually about 5-6 minutes or so. What you’ve got going on reminds me of many other creatures that have rapid regeneration. The Mass Effect games have Wrex & Grunt,my favorite Krogans! You can damage them, but unless you’ve cut the heads off, they’ll just grow new arms & legs and make more blood to start attacking again.

I love the dialogs on this page. I’m still not sure I like this comics because it’s somewhat too bloody for me, but apart from that, I like very much the art and characters till now. By the way, what is it that’s not important? Having a name? Drawing comics? Existing? Well, if it’s too personal, don’t answer 😉 And thanks for the comics!

That might be one of the most bloody parts, if that helps. It’s not going to be like this all the time. Glad you can still somewhat enjoy it!
And the not important part, ugh, I don’t really know how to answer that. I suppose I just wanted people to focus on what I do/draw instead of me as a person. But being completely honest with you I could have been a bit bitter as well when I created that nick, about me being an insignificant piece of meat in this vast, mostly empty universe. But that was long time ago so I don’t really remember… Nick stayed though.
And you are welcome! My pleasure!

Hah, that brings back memories when people were still asking about my nickname. By now about everyone who knows me also either knows the old story or simply doesn’t care. 🙂

Besides, it’s a healthy approach to life actually. All too often we take the most menial thing as ‘of utmost important’, though when looked at from a distance, they suddenly aren’t all that important any more. One could almost say that they’ve always been ‘not important’ to begin with. 😉

I wonder how it is for the few other people around who have to listen to their banter. 😀

Loving it, by the way. (^_^)

      They’d probably think two things:

‘Holy crap…did they just actually kill that demon?!’ and ‘Great…our saviors lost their minds.’

Though this is just my guess. 😉

Ya tear gas wears off pretty quickly once you stop being exposed to it; but you know what can really ruin your day? Friggin pepper spray x.x never again.

Hey, I just checked TWC. Revel in the moment, because as of writing this, Replay is placed number 2 at the TWC list! Congratulations on this, most likely fleeting but nevertheless impressing, milestone! 😀

You are 20 votes ahead of TwoKinds which has been in the top ten for the past years with only GrrlPower ahead of you.

    Great job. 🙂

Haha thanks! ;D I really didn’t think that people will like it this much…! It makes me so happy :’D

so guns can’t kill demons but can harm them. at the very least removing the head and limbs would make them less dangerous.
this give non magic people a way to be useful.
