Battle plan

See? She’s got it all figured out. Better cross your fingers, magic is a fickle thing, after all. ๏◡๏

Thanks for all of the votes! If you haven’t see the vote incentive since Friday – do so! I’ve added a b&w comic which will hopefully be continued as a silly back story of our two main heroes’ budding relationship. I hope to update this thing frequently so keep checking~! Apart from TWC incentives I’ll be posting those extras on Replay’s Patreon page and sending out a Tweet when the new comic is up.

I’ve started watching Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis before I’ve heard about Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku so I’ll finish that series first. It’s well done and quite entertaining, even with main male characters being… really weird in design. Anyhow, if you are bored it might be worth taking a look. I’ll probably have less and less time for anything as the new year approaches, my move out to Tokyo is getting closer and there’s still a ton of things to do!

That’s all for this week, keep checking the extra comic on TWC or Patreon and let me know what you think!

Magic obviously. Have you not been paying attention? She cast a spell a while ago, CLEARLY this is one of it’s affects. Kids these days…

Ah those are emotions-related things. Small flowers for Roberts excitement and sweat drops for Ada’s insecurity.

There are a lot of emotions going on here. And the Alt text is obviously right if this is a manga. Protagonists should never understand women. I’m fine if it doesn’t happen now, but please don’t pull a constant misunderstanding of feelings so everyone stays single. Hardly my favorite.

I hate to be critical, but the transition from the prior page seems a tad abrupt. I almost think it needs another panel, but that could just be me.

And you’re moving to Japan? Cool! What for? Is it a permanent move, or just a few months for the experience/change of pace?

Alt text is… well, you’ll see next week ;D And don’t worry, this story has many changing relationships.

Not sure what you’d like to see on that additional panel. In my head Robert examined the tent and moved to look at Ada who explained her plan further (why she needed that exact tent).

I’ve been to Japan several times already and hope to move permanently this time (or at least for a few years). I’ll be flying there in Feb. And it’s hard to tell what for… looking for my place on Earth I suppose ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Wow, cool. What are you going to do there? Same sort of job you do now? Or take up teaching English? (It’s a thing people do, apparently, going to japan to teach them English ( http://www.marycagle.com/letsspeakenglish ❤). And honestly, I’ve heard how they speak English in some anime, so they can use the help.)

Yeah, most people I spoke with didn’t know English very well but I met some with excellent skills as well! I plan to get a 1 year visa and look for programming job, hopefully it won’t be too hard to do. If it doesn’t work I’ll just have a year long stay in Japan ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Well, I was right about the spell! (wasn’t the only one though and probably not even the first.) I’m curious about what’s in the bottle she appears to be holding, though.

Looks like Ada has some doubt about casting a spell even if she took point until this point – so Robert cheer her up and help her.

Maybe Rob is staring at the sword struck in the ground, eyes full of remorse… Now the poor katana is even less useful for thrusting attacks. He is contemplating whether to scold Ada for it or encourage her about doing magic. I really hope that someone around there knows how to sharpen swords, they will definitely need it (unless the katanas are made of typical indestructible materials).

Sorry if I seem overly negative, I am very passionate towards blades and the more I learn about them, the more I get peeved by how they are handled in movies, books et cetera.

Believe me, I suffer every time she throws the sheath around, waiting for the day they won’t find it anymore lol…

Luckily for them magic makes even a pretty dull sword useful against demons. Those blades are hardly indestructible. But I’m afraid they don’t know how to take care of them properly.

Actually, she HAD to stick the sword in the dirt. Blood from the last couple of demons washed the previous coating of terrestrial dirt and microbes off of the sword. I mean, how is she supposed to give the demons magically supercharged tetanus with a clean(ish) blade?

Like War of the Worlds taught us, it’s the little things that make the biggest difference. 😉

So long as the positive effects are pointing Inside the circle and any negative ones Outside it. Implosions are nasty things but can happen all too often with miscasts.
Dual wield time for Robert! *Cheers

Yay! Ada is such a cutie in her shorts and t-shirt, short stature and red hair/fur. 😀

Speak up, Ada! Robert can’t read minds.
The second to last panel makes me wonder about their relationship again. I can’t quite tell what they are to each other. Very important, of course, but that does not necessarily mean a love relationship.
Probably I’m just as dense as Robert.
