And now for something completely different…..~ I’f you’re wondering about the japanese phrase it’s “ojamashimasu” and if I were to translate it to English it’d be something like “sorry for intruding“. It’s used when you enter somebody else’s house. Ada watches way too much anime. (Also, she’s not really sorry)

I’m tired and stressed, so excuse my silence lately. I hope you still enjoy the comic. I read the comments I’m still out there, though, reading your comments and warm words, drawing for you until my arms hurt and my eyes sting ♡ I plan to take two days off at the end of the week and go to the mountains (I don’t give a damn about this stupid rain anymore, I need a breather) so I should feel slightly better next week, sorry about the rant!

      Yeah, when translated literally. But it’s used in an apologetic kind of way.

      I don’t think there will be any babies or babymaking involved in this scene.

      Their relationship just isn’t…quite that way.
      They’re close, sure, but as it stands, Rob’s in the friend zone.
      Or much rather: ‘That silly boy I need to look out for’-zone, which might actually be even worse.

      Of course I’m a horrible judge of characters, so I may well be dead wrong with my analysis. 😀

        However, I wonder whether this is what Rob was referring to during the Sandwich Incident. You know, before they got to the village and saw that humungous demon on the horizon.

    Hmm…it would appear that I am missing something here.

    Though, from the context, it would appear that Robert is sick and Ada is worried for his well being if left all alone (though I really don’t know who ‘Violet’ is…a relative? A mutual friend?).

    Though he doesn’t exactly look sick…wait, is this after his little outburst back at the university?
    If so…yeah, well…some company might do him very well.

    Time to see what their relationship was…before things happened.

      My thoughts are: either a friend/co-worker who told Ada about how Rob was feeling after some kind of loss (friend or relative), which he had kept to himself, or recent ex of Rob. Rob doesn’t look too bad, so I tend to the recent break-up, in which Violet might or might not be the ex.

      This reminds I still got to read the first meeting backstory…

    Be sure to take care of yourself NI, if you need/want to take a break by all means do so. It will do no one any good if you hurt yourself or catch sick because you were determined to put these comics out for us.
    I, personally, wouldn’t go hiking in the mountains during the rain but if that’s what makes you feel better more power to you, and I hope you enjoy yourself.

      For the last two weeks I kept telling myself that it’s a stupid idea but I grew so frustrated that it’s constantly raining and I can’t go anywhere that I decided to ignore it. I’ve got good shoes and it’s a short and easy hike. We’ll be fine, we’ll take it slow. I want to play in the mud, smell the nature and then relax in the onsen. Away from the city and away from my pc.

      Honestly, I think taking a break would stress me out more than putting out a page. I’m already sad that Replay lost a lot of audience when it was on hiatus as I was reworking the Prologue sighhh…

    Okay, this is gonna bug me if I don’t ask. Ada and Rob (and presumably violet) are Japanese, right? From the flashbacks, it looks like they grew up and lived in Japan, and here Ada is even speaking Japanese. So why do they have names like Ada, Robert, and Violet?

    Also, where are they in the present storyline, and what led to them being there?

      They’re not! Ada and Rob just like the popculture and they went there once for vacation.
