Two more demons

This sweet almost-full-page is the last one from this scene. I hope you like Kasper and Laura, since they will stick around for a moment longer. Next week we will meet another 3 new characters, very exciting! (╯’□’)╯

I liked the discussion under last page, so many wild theories haha. I don’t want to comment on them too much since comics should speak of itself, but I can assure you that many doubts should clear up before the end of this chapter. If I don’t screw up, that is.

And did you notice? 4th place on Topwebcomics! I wonder if it will stay like this throughout the month… I will try to update vote incentive more often, at least it won’t be so boring to vote. I’ll be posting a note on the Facebook fanpage every time it’s changed.

Holy! #4?!? And by the looks, you might get #2 if people give a little nudge. AMAZING!
Oh, and the art for this and the voting incentive is really good. I don’t know if I’m imagining it, but it looks better than usual. And it’s amusing too (We just killed some demons, and are all bloody, but don’t forget to smile!), so that’s a plus.
    Looking forward to next week.

This story means to be lighthearted – if we are all going to die let’s at least have some fun doing it. Glad you like the art, I am constantly trying to make it better, happy it’s working 😀
And yessss so very exciting to be on the #4!

If the aim was a” lighthearted” story, maybe you should have chosen another theme then “monsters brutally ripping cute cat people apart”. Unless you’re going for the macabre happy tree friends kind of lighthearted…

Either way, I love the story, and I’ll let you know that I, at least, is taking it VERY seriously (and keep that in mind before you go killing of any major character on a whim! >:O)

Haha it’s okay, story might not be super heavy but it’s not very playful either. I will just leave emotional struggle for later chapters. Glad you enjoy it so far, I hope you won’t be disappointed!

Just to quote a wiseass: Truly, if there is evil in this world, it rests deep within the hearts of mankind.

And yup, those two are having WAY too much fun slashing and dashing through those demons.
So yeah, while they might not be ‘demons’, I wouldn’t categorize them as ‘entirely human’ either. 😀

On that note, the gas isn’t gone entirely yet…I would expect them to suffer from the effects on the next page, seeing how they’re getting quite a dose from good old tear gas right there. Maybe not on this page, because this is where they rush into the cloud, but the next page, they should at the very least have some very red eyes. 🙂

Just looked at the VI again…there may be tears in their eyes, but it doesn’t seem from some sort of chemical reaction…they honestly look like they’re having the time of their life in that picture.

Regarding your current vote rank…seems like you’ve managed to obtain some faithful voters somewhere along the way.
It’ll be difficult to catch TwoKinds (seeing how Tom has decided to pick up the pace again, it’ll remain difficult to catch up to him, but the other Top-Ranked WebComics seem to be stuck in a bit of a slump, allowing yours to rise.

So yeah, keep up the good work and before you know it, you’ll be among the top three at the end of the month. Just you wait. 🙂

Things will probably change when they all update their incentives and such, I have a feeling that Replay has fans who vote constantly and those other top-comics have many many many more fans who vote when there is a request from the author. Replay is too young to beat them if they put up a real fight haha 😀

And no worries, they will complain plenty about the gas later on! But that in about… 5 pages? And let them have fun killing things before they all die~

Probably so, but it’s still fun dreaming, isn’t it? 🙂

Though yeah, you may have a hard time competing with webcomics which have been around for 10 years+ 🙂

Good. Good. I just meant to remind you, but if you’ve got it all planned out, I’m good, you’re good, we’re all good…well, except for that demon. He’s most definitely not good. 😀
He’s going to feel that in the morning to say the least…or, maybe not. 😛

Still 4th, and I also vote for comic 1 so I’m only keeping you up with them. They look way to pleased whilst simultaneously covered in blood on your voting reward picture, that is quite worrying! ;-p

Let’s just pretend it’s an adrenaline rush 😀 And thank you for your support!

I just started reading this comic tonight from #1,and the art has done nothing but improve! Even the story is worth waiting for the good stuff to come,so keep up with the excellent work you’re doing.

I get it but I am starting to feel pestered. I will try it out when I feel like it 😉

Well, it’s mostly an ideological thing. I don’t know whether you are familiar with the idea of Free and Open Source Software: but if not, just think of it like Creative Commons, only for software. (Though it’s in fact the other way around: Free Software licenses were what inspired Creative Commons…)

So if you like the idea of Creative Commons works, you should also like the idea of Free Software such as Krita. Otherwise, probably not so much…

Archive binged the comic and added it to favorites.

    Dang, this comic rocks. 🙂
But now I have to wait for it to update. 🙁

Just discovered this comic on a wim and it loving it, can’t wait to see where you take this!!

Waaaaah, why aren’t there more pages? T_T

I love your comic and I am impressed at how you made it to number 4 (and depressed that I had to stop reading again so soon).

    • NotImportant Reply

Haha I’m sorry, I can only promise you that there will be more in the future 😀 Very happy to hear that you like it! Thanks for reading!

      • Alex Reply

Alright, I’m looking forward to it. And don’t feel pressured by rising to the world’s number 4 so fast and many people having very high expectations from you and all that. ;-p

Nah, I’m kidding, but I hope you can at least beat BTB, because I don’t like that one very much.

Are you trying to give us a cavity with vote incentives like that? XD
Though I will say that Ada’s neck appears a little long in this one, but then again, I’m just a writer, so what do I know, am I right?

As a little hint on the side, have you considered creating vote incentive thumbnails? You could post those on this site and people would automatically know that a new VI has been posted when they visit this site and don’t have to check your FB site to notice. Otherwise I wouldn’t have known and thereby I wouldn’t have voted till next Monday and that would’ve been a shame, wouldn’t it? 😉

    • JW Reply

People should just vote everyday, then they’ll notice when there’s a new vote incentive without needing those fancy newfangled thumbnails; lazy kids these days 😉

      • Refugnic Reply

Well, if I voted for Replay every day, I’d also need to vote for every other webcomic I’m reading, otherwise it wouldn’t be fair (and with the number of webcomics I’m following, that’d be actual work, believe it or not :XD:).

Call me lazy all you want, but I’ve already done more for Replay than for every other webcomic anyway (look at the fanart section if you don’t believe me :P).
How many fanarts have you made? How many people have you told about the webcomic?

And I’m sorry if this sounded high and mighty, I really enjoyed making those fanfics and I’m sure more are to come once things calm down for me and pick up in the comic and they really aren’t all that great either, plus I’ve got some extra exposure through the comic’s audience thanks to NIs gracious advertising of my works, so I really am in no position to complain 🙂

        • JW Reply

You vote for every webcomic your read? Goodness, if i did that I wouldn’t have time to sleep anymore. (Yes, I’m a bad fan to most comics I read, I suppose. Though I do turn off my adblocker for most if not all of them.) I think it’s fair enough to vote for just those few I feel strongest about.

And you did realize I was being facetious, right? I mean, that curmudgeonly “those fancy newfangled thumbnails”, that grumpy-old-mannish “lazy kids these days”, I wasn’t going for subtle.

          • Refugnic

I vote on updates (to which I count vote incentives as well as actual updates), which makes the load bearable. Another criteria I have for voting for them: I need to be able to vote directly from the comic. If the owner of the webcomic doesn’t put up a clearly visible button to TWC, he apparently doesn’t want my vote.

Regarding the facetiousness…I believe I told you that I meant to stop interpreting, because I’m likely to get it wrong anyway, didn’t I? 😉
That said, I have the habit of taking any sort of reply serious. Often way too serious. Sometimes the responses I get from this seriousness are just as good as gold. 😀
