Awkward landing

The landing might have been awkward but they don’t give a crap about it. Rob might have avoided landing on her boobs (like it happens in any good anime, as we all know) but it’s still pretty good. At least I had fun drawing it.

Damn it, I wrote a paragraph and I scrapped it. It’s hard to write anything cheerful with all that’s going on all around the globe. Just know, that I am well and working hard on the second part of Historia. It’ll be longer than the first one so there are many many assets to draw! I started sketching them out this week but there’s still a ton to do, hah. I hope you guys are doing fine or that you’re at least safe. Tokyo is doing just fine, no major disasters.

Oh, I’ve testing Facebook ads last week and they were crap. Does anyone have any experience with those? I got a bunch of likes on the posts but not many people actually checked out the comic or liked the page so I can’t say it was money well spent.

May this page brighten your day at least a little~

Oh! And check out the Discord if you want to chat! People’s been sharing their art and pet photos too, we don’t bite! https://discord.gg/ttgpurrĀ

    Eh, how was that?
Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing.

If the plane can be used again after the landing, it is perfect.

And besides, that? That is not an awkward landing.
Besides, Ada is way too happy that it worked to really mind anything at this point.
Well, I guess she would’ve minded the classical ‘like 5 inches away from kissing’-pose after landing.

    But that?
That is not an awkward landing.

I do worry about that nosebleed though…and Ada would do well to worry as well.
She is working with things that defy are known science after all.
The side-effects of wrangling magic like she does are ‘unknown’ to say the least.

I agree about the nosebleed. I guess if it happens on the return trip, maybe she’ll give it some more thought.
Or maybe on the return trip she’ll pass out from the magical strain and they’ll decide it’s better used as a last resort than a means of transport.

It’s always serious when a female character gets a nosebleed. With male characters, it usually just means they saw a pair of boobs. šŸ˜‰

Ada might already know that “All magic comes with a price”, and she’s trying to hide that from Rob. Or, it could just be that she’s startled by the second left arm that she got from the transporter malfunction. ;D

    Worry not, my dearest friend,
    for we are yet alive!
A while to go, to meet our end,
a way to end our strife.

    Worry not, my dearest friend,
and keep your thoughts in check!
My nose? Don’t fret, it’s on the mend,
I’m far from being a wreck.

    Worry not, my dearest friend,
and please, now do not stare.
this spell, it surely is godsend,
    I’m fine, I’m sure, I swear.

Nah, a nosebleed is harmless. šŸ˜‰ I gotta say I just love mad science like in Girl Genius or in the new She-Ra series (god Entrapta is so awesome again in Season 5 XD). So thumbs up for Ada gaining a touch of insane passion for her magic, too. šŸ™‚

As far as your ads go:
I avoid using FB as much as possible. I wonder if anyone below 40 is actually still there on a regular basis. Twitter, Youtube and some Discord are plenty for me.

then they find out that that teleport is a one way trip and she doesn’t stop bleeding until arrival at original jump point as the price for the use of such magic.

It’s only when you bleed from your eyes that you need to be worried.

That kinda remembers me of “Made in Abyss” where going up in the abyss strains your body in different ways. One way further down is, to bleed from every body opening…

Again, how taxing is their magic on body and/or mind?

If I remember correctly, Ada had a hell of a headache after her first protection pentacle around the supplies tent back at the military camp.

Cannot wait to learn more about all the intricacies of their magic… (Yes, I am too lazy to try researching [again] šŸ˜‰ )

Research won’t help on this one, torturing them for magic use is my own idea~ So you’ll have to wait and see, they are going to discover the rules eventually!

Facebook ads are NOT good. A big-name YouTuber did a study where he made a page that specifically telling people it contained nothing, and then paid for advertising. Lo and behold, they got tons of likes when the advertising happened…he posted to ask why people liked it, and got no responses whatsoever.

He started examining all the people who liked it, and found people with pages full of nothing but liked things. It had no rhyme or reason: opposing brands were liked, etc. He concluded that the majority of the likes were from spammers in third world countries (a similarity between the accounts) that would like everything advertised to them in order to avoid detection from FaceBook. Basically, FaceBook advertising is worthless because it gets you tons of likes from a silent fanbase.

I honestly don’t remember how I discovered your website, but I believe it was an advertisement on Fanfiction.net years ago (embarrassing as that is to admit). Good luck revitalizing your readership!

Thanks! And you’re right, that’s how it was for me. I have another reason to stay away from Facebook lol…
