There is one more page in this chapter and we’ll be off to the next one! It was actually one chapter in the original story too. I could have divided it but… meh, doesn’t really matter. I thought it makes for a nice, solid chapter if it starts and ends in the same military camp.

If you haven’t seen it, check out the new illustration in the gallery! I have followed Night Spark & JW’s suggestion from the comments and drew Nina with rest of the cast as a bunch of kids. If you’d like a higher resolution (for print I guess?), I have uploaded it on the Patreon. The next comic page is there already as well (ノ・∀・)ノ And try not to make any brilliant drawing suggestions this week or I’ll never have any extra comics done lol

    Cheerfull Laura is still a great addition – again a small detail that lets me smile every time i see her 🙂

    Still i am not so sure if bunkers are the right place to hide, but still better than some tent.

    And again you did a fanstastic job on the “Bunch of Kids” picture – and about: “And try not to make any brilliant drawing suggestions” – you know that there will be some, you cant escape when people start with ideas 😛 – You are lucky that i am not someone with a great imagination, because then i would already came up with something (but i still hope you will do a new picture with Ada and Rob sparing one day) 😉

      You forgot that the blade of the katana has to be magical enhanced – then its a little bit easier, at least you can kill the ones that are not taller than you 😉

    I love how in the last panel perfect timing doesn’t occur-there isn’t always a lull in the conversation when it’s time to “move out”, or “get ready”, or whatever. A small detail that contributes to the big awesomeness!

    I can’t help but wonder if Laura isn’t going to have a lot of trouble keeping that camera charged.
    I suppose in the worst case, she could still use it as a bludgeoning weapon.

        Come to think of it, it’s similar to the “How are we going to feed all these people” problem they must’ve been facing before. There one day, gone the next.

      I’ve got 5 more pages (than posted here) ready, 3 more sketched out, 2 more written down and something like 10 years of comics written in a form of a book but it needs a lot of changes due to additional characters I’ve added, I’m working on that right now.

            So you are already thinking about a follow up story 😀 – Joke aside: great to hear, that you have so much of story there – and i have a whole lot of respect for writing that much – i am already struggeling with 5-6 pages o.o

            Haha I like writing a lot so it’s actually a lot of fun. And yes, there is a sequel (never written, but I know what I want there) so I hope you guys are going to stick around for a decade or two lol

      Yeah, I was pretty sure it’s pointless to have a Patreon. You proved me wrong and the others followed haha. It’s very motivating so I’m trying hard to make Replay even better <3

    Sorry to backtrack again, but I forgot this little question/advice: shouldn’t it be “on the commander’s maps”?
    I usually try to not be fussy with small mistakes, at least not outside the job when enjoying something given to me for free. Plus my colloquial spoken English might not be the best either. 😉

    ok so i see faust in the little illustration of the cast as kids and Nina as a motherly figure (which is freakin adorable btw) but like where else is he in the story? was he only in the beginning of the story, in Rob’s vision? did i miss any pages with him cuz idk man im pretty confused, i haven’t really seen him in a while…
    not asking for spoilers that might involve him, just asking if the beginning was the only time so far when faust made an appearance. tankuu

      That’s correct! He’s the reason why everything is messed up but we don’t see him anywhere. If he met the rest of the cast right now they’d die pretty quickly. So we don’t want to meet him right now :c
      There’ll be more of him in the visions of the past. And they will meet him, eventually.
