Well lo, behold and look who’s here!
A seldom guest, all smug, no fear.
Looks at the world, watches it burn.
his master plan makes my blood churn.

Just wait it out, time’s on my side,
just need to wait till all have died.
They’ll huddle up and fail to see,
like lambs to slaughter they’re to me.

Now looky here, my favorite witch.
Felled a giant, ain’t that rich?
I was right to spare her then,
though not an ‘if’, it is a ‘when’.

    Aren’t you going to intervene?
Don’t be silly, I’m mad, not mean.
Let her enjoy her little day,
and soon, so soon, I’ll make her pay.

For picking this fool Robert’s side,
instead of being mine, my bride.
The die are cast, as saying goes,
soon will be over all my woes.

And once the world is on its knees,
no more struggles, no more pleas.
Then, yes then, my wish comes true,
    either with or without you.

A new world I’ll then create,
to my liking, from clean slate.
No more warring, no more fights,
a God I’ll be, with all the rights.

    Yes, yes, I know, a deal’s a deal.
But still, recall, protect the seal.
Until the pact has been fulfilled,
don’t fail to fear those who are skilled.

You brought back magic to this realm,
and put yourself at its front helm.
But those who seek your end shall come.
Don’t get too cocky, don’t be dumb.

From a story perspective, I missed this guy because he’s critical to the plot and I’m curious what the heck he’s up to that makes “plunge the world into violence and chaos” a viable plan.

From a personal perspective, I missed this guy because I’m looking forwards to seeing him on fire. A lot.

Yeah, thus far we know absolutely nothing about his motivations.
And somehow I don’t think that’s going to change any time soon.

Yeah … from story perspective we need him and I’m looking forward for the exposition he will certainly provide.

From personal? “Damn I missed this guy.” *reloading*

Funnily enough, I was just thinking, he’s in just the right spot for a sniper to take a shot at him.

The only way he could come across as more of a jerk in this scene is for him to be eating an apple rather than drinking a cup of coffee. Bad guys we all love to hate. ; ]

One the one hand I’m thinking, why an apple? But on the other I think, yes, that would make him look more like a jerk. But why…

But I think it’s possible to one-up the apple. What if he was eating a lollipop, and using the other hand to casually keep his little flailing brother/sister (whose lollipop it is and is trying to get it back) at a distance by holding their head.

Because the vampire Jerry Dandridge was eating an apple when he spotted the protagonist hiding in the bushes? (In the movie ‘Fright Night’, the original, which might be my favorite vampire movie of all time. The remake wasn’t bad, but not as good as the original, despite the differences on special effects.)
