Hey everyone! I hope life’s treating you well. I’m fine and it’s more than 20 C today in Tokyo so I’m planning to go to Odaiba and just lay on the grass in the park. I can’t draw anyway because my shoulder’s in pain after yesterday’s intense drawing marathon to finish some Hisotira assets. I’m worried that I won’t make it in time. The other illustrator that was helping us is too busy with her regular work to help so I need to draw all the remaining assets. Expect me to complain a lot in the next couple of months haha~

What else is new… Not much. I started reading Kate Daniels series but it’s not for me. Every guy is handsome and they all love the main girl, but she doesn’t want to sleep with them since she wants someone to really love her (although she’s very horny, which she will state several times throughout the book) but she cannot commit to a relationship because of *magical reasons*. So yeah… Not something I can enjoy, even though the books are well written and the world is plenty interesting – I dislike the characters and the romance parts too much. Oh, and the fact that I need to know what someone’s wearing (from hat to shoes) every time they appear. I’m in book 3 and I think I’m going to stop there. I finished reading City of Stairs by Bennett too and that was good too. It had its moment and I’ll probably remember the world for a long while. Well worth the read. There are 2 more volumes in the series and I might pick them up when I’m done beta-reading a manuscript for a friend.

Oh, I also restarted watching Expanse, realizing that I missed 3 seasons, and I’m loving season 3 so far. Recommended for sci-fi fans! https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3230854/

    I just wanted to comment that Ada’s look in the last panel really looks great. Then I saw that you use it in the advertisment banners, so I think you are aware ^^’

    I am aware that this is a big awesome moment for Ada and it would be ‘right’ to compose something ‘epic’…but you know how creativity is.

    Robert looks around.
    No coffee shop, no, none at all,

    The vendor’s smashed, the power’s out,
    now what did you expect?
    T’is is a cause that’s lost, no doubt.
    But at least he checked.

      I’m afraid, I don’t understand.

      That I’m behind on the updates on Tapas?
      Yeah, I know, I always seem to be…maybe I’ll get around to do them today, but no guarantees. 😀

        I think he missed an “e”, and meant “one” instead of “on”. Where “one” refers to the poem, which is fairly long.

          Hmm, I’d like to think that it’s just a little above average, but as I said on the Discord channel just yesterday, not every day’s the same.

          Sometimes there just is more to say than another time.

          Sadly ‘length’ does not equal ‘quality’…more often than not, it’s actually the opposite.
          The longer something drags on, the more the quality deteriorates.
          Of course there are exceptions (and it actually gets better), but you know how it is. 🙂

          Anyway, thanks for the clarification.
