Dangerous type

Quite a lot of text this time… Did you have good Christmas? I hope you had a good rest and ate a lot of tasty stuffs at least! I was visiting family this week and drawing comics with so many people around was a bit tough. Everyone was interested what the hell this is and why am I constantly sitting in from of my laptop instead of talking with them.

I’m just not a fan of family gatherings… ʕノ•ᴥ•ʔノ ︵ ┻━┻

    Yeah, he definitely needs better training. He’ll never get that pizza to your door in 30 minutes or less if he gets eaten by a demon.
    Ok, fine, yeah, he survived. I’ll give him that. But where’s the pizza, eh?

      A true pizza delivery guy wouldn’t even have been phased by what went down. They see some serious shit. Get paid in dollar bills literally pulled from the thong of the bachelor party’s stripper? Deal with it. Get paid $200 in cash in a bad part of town? Deal with it. 29-minute-drive in rush-hour traffic with a 30 minute deadline? Floor it and pray.

      For you, it might have been the day that demons slaughtered a convoy and a random guy managed to kill one. But for me, it was Tuesday.

    So he *killed* the demon? that demon who can’t be killed by regular gun, but is easely cut by samurai sword. Ok, it’s magicish sword. Then, why doesn’t military study it or something? And if this dude own the only known (?) anti-demon weapon, he is some kind of big shot? (it’s about 10-15 strip, right? I’m trying to avoid spoilers, but now i think i missed something)

      Ok I don’t want to spoil the fun for you so I’ll try to avoid any spoilers and lengthy explanations.

      “Demons can’t be killed by a gun” is rumor that is spread across the camp, they are not around for long enough for the people to know what can and what can’t kill them. There is a situation later on when someone laughs it off, if you read along you’ll see. For military to accept that something like magic sword exists is very difficult to stomach, not to mention that magical sword being the only thing that can kill the enemy. Just imagine walking into the barracks and shouting that you have the magical sword that can kill demons – they would only laugh and kick you out. If military believed that guns REALLY don’t work at all, no matter how many bullets you put into those monsters, they’d probably kill themselves on the spot or cry in the corner. On the other hand it’s easy to believe that one bullet doesn’t work. Or that you need at least a grenade and regular gun is pretty much useless.

      And last thing – it’s kind of hard for Robert to believe that he has the only weapon that works. He’d more likely assume he was somehow lucky and found the sensitive place or something like that. That’s why they are so happy about the corpse – they can study it and find the weakness.

      Ugh I hope I helped a bit. Prologue IS a bit hectic and mysterious. Chapter I is meant to answer basic questions about the military and killing demons.

      Those are rumors, not everyone likes to think that those things are immortal. That’s, after all, a pretty grim assumption..

    Actually, that would make a great Bruce Willis movie. Pizza man sees something he shouldn’t– suddenly he’s part of a government anti alien strike team. And when his team is killed and he’s on his own, somehow he becomes an action hero.
