A brave little mouse~ No, wait, a brave little kitten! I bet she couldn’t sleep last night, stressing over a bunch of sandwiches. Love! Sighhh…

I’m back from US! And it’s raining like crazy! The weather is terrible but I’m still ecstatic to be back home! YES!

A week out of Tokio, almost 30 hours in flight total, tons of meetings, canceled flights, terrible meals and damn, I’m tired. And it’s Monday tomorrow (as I write this). Why. I want to sleep so badly. I feel like there is a bottomless pit filled with sleepiness inside me,  an unlimited reservoir of sand under my eyelids and perpetuum mobile installed in my jaw, making me jawn all the time. I’m clearly not cut out for business travel. Or for US. Most likely for neither.

I managed to finish the Halloween drawing with Stefen in Homura’s dress. He won that silly pool some time ago, do you guys still remember? So here you go! I think he fits the Halloween theme quite well! That’s most likely the last piece from this crazy series, I hope you enjoyed the skirts and hairy legs \(-ㅂ-)/ ….?

And a new month is coming so I count on you and your votes! Yay! Plus it’s November so NaNoWriMo! Anyone participating? I’m still kind of reluctant (cause lack of time) but on the other hand, I feel like I’m just waiting for an excuse to start writing, heh… Oh and I’ve finished two first books of the Three-Body Problem and although it has it’s naive moments I still feel it’s a really great read, absolutely refreshing and full of fantastic ideas. I think I liked the second book even more than the first one (which is usually very rare!).

    Sounds like you went through a lot this past week, hope you get back to your normal daily rhythm very quick – nothing is more annoying than living like a half zombie because of such a short and long travel.

    And i still can’t get over all the expressions on this page XD
    Kaspar just “please be over”, Laura agreeing, Ada not knowing what to say and Philip as expressionless as always XD And the awkward silence between Robert and Sofia.

    And Stefen has found his calling if the scientist part doesn´t work out in the future XD

        Hm, I first read it as exasperation for this scene to be finished and send Ada and Rob on their way.
        But know that you say it, I seem to remember that there were speculations about Kasper having an interest it Sofia…

        Fun fact: I just noticed that on the Cast page, Kasper’s sentiment towards Sofia is officially “worries about”. And that made me realise that both of the situations in question make perfect sense without bringing in any romantic interest on Kasper’s side: it probably just boils down to, “poor girl — chasing a guy who is totally oblivious of her…”

    Smooth Nina, real smooth. Is that a little tail on leg action from Ada to Rob in the final panel? Significant?

      Sofia. Nina is Filip’s wife; Sofia is the one who’s had a crush on Rob ever since he gave a recruiting lecture for his former employer in her college class.

    Glad to hear you arrived safely, NI! And what an excellent illustration of an awkward moment in the camp! Will Sofia ever recover? Will Ada ever forgive Rob? (Of course it’s Rob’s fault; he’s the guy — first rule of relationships: it’s always the guy’s fault! ;-p ) Are the sandwiches really all that good? I guess we’ll just have to keep checking in, every week, to find out.

    Eeeee! Sofia is so cute! I wish her good fortune in her quest for love, and it looks like Laura does too. Ada appears to have no idea how to react to this situation.

    I look forwards to seeing the verdict on Sofia’s sandwich making skills, especially if Robert is a good boy and shares.

      Also, for some reason it took me 3 attempts to actually comment today. First two, pressing the Post Comment button loaded a new page as usual but didn’t actually display my post or give me any sort of error message to tell me what was wrong.

    Glad to hear that everything went about as well as it could regarding your travels.
    And if you do go for NaNoWriMo, then best of luck. I could never get myself to write more than 1000 words, even back in 2007.
    Last, it seems like Ada is suffering from some karma for what happened a couple of pages ago. Then again, I’m not entirely sure karma is even a thing, so… :/

      Thanks, I’ll need all the luck to tackle NaNoWriMo, I’m actually still hesitant to try… But we’ll see how it goes, I’ll attempt to start haha~

        Or, a very clever plan. If Rob ate both sandwiches, and started chasing Ada with lustful intent, she might pummel him black and blue. He’d return with his tail between his legs, and Sofia would be there to lick his wounds… Literally.
