Ada Allouette – single by Refugnic

Little Ada, won’t you come be my bride,
Little Ada, come lay down your blades.

Lovely Ada, the world throne awaits thee,
Lovely Ada, discard those you call ‘friends’.

Your fight is wrong, in vain you fight,
now come and be here at my side.
At my side, at my side,
In vain you fight, in vain you fight.

Pretty Ada, why don’t you ditch this blockhead?
Pretty Ada, come rest here at my side.

Haha, man, to see this here is quite flattering.
You know, I just made this on a whim and I didn’t even bother getting a good microphone to record my singing.

It really was just meant to make NI smile, so seeing it here probably means that I’ve done well enough with that.

I hope that everyone else will be able to get a laugh from this as well. πŸ™‚

On a side note, the person singing here is Faust, just in case you couldn’t guess from the Lyrics. πŸ˜‰

Thanks for listening and thanks for putting it up. πŸ™‚

My pleasure! I figured that if I had a laugh listening to it others might as well. Just imagine Adam singing it while shaving… priceless xD

Ahahaha, yup, that picture is plain priceless. πŸ˜€
I’m not very much of a visual guy myself, but somehow I can imagine that just fine. πŸ˜€

Your singing is good. The only problem is that it seems incomplete. The song doesn’t seem to be done when it finishes, and I wish I could hear more. I will check out the next song right now though, and let you know what I think.

I will happily agree that it is very short and I probably could have song more verses (even tell a little story with it), however I was unfamiliar with the complete tune, so I was kinda happy that I managed to record it like it is, despite it being short.

You see, the biggest issue I have right here is my glaring lack of equipment, though I probably could do something about it if I really wanted to.

            What I use:
            My voice
            A microphone
            The windows voice recorder.

As I’m sure you know, it is quite hard to sing a song you’re not 100 % familiar with and the longer you sing, the more likely it is that you fail somewhere along the way.
Trip over words, mess up the pronouncation, lose your voice, forget the text, the likes. Background noise is also always an issue.

And without some sort of mixing software (which is what I probably could get to improve these factors), each song is ‘Do or die’. Either you get it right or you get to start over.

So yeah, so this is why this one is so short.

Thanks for listening and also for your opinion. πŸ™‚
