Morning after

I hope you like that page, it took me a while to color.

We’ve had 4 updates of the extra comic last week! Are you guys keeping up…? Or not really? I wanted to update it more this week as well but I’ll be leaving for Tokyo on Friday so I might lack the time to do that. I am stressed out lately and need to slow down a little. Cross your fingers for me so that I don’t miss the plane or something lol…

And yes, my sweet Patrons can already see the next page~! Extra thanks to those who pledged last week, that’s really REALLY motivating ♡

Grab another video! This recording defied me for the longest time but I finally managed to glue it together… If you feel like laughing at me you can try hunting for the weird recording artifacts in the movie (cause they are there!). After rendering this for the nth time I just didn’t have the mental strength to cut those out and render everything again, it blocks Photoshop for far too long… Anyhow, the video is here ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have been checking the weekday updates to answer your question, I have been enjoying them.
Both this page and the next are really well done, you time spent coloring really did make them look fantastic.
I remember the past few weeks you mentioned that you were working on on getting your visa and a place to rent. Since you didn’t say that this week, does that mean everything is working out for you? Great! Hope you have a good time in Japan.

Yeah, we’ve got the apartment ready and got the visa too 🙂 I posted the news on Twitter, could have forgotten to mention it under the page… Anyway, so far so good!
And I’m glad you like the newest pages, very happy to hear that. Thank you!

        I don’t use twitter, so that’s probably why I didn’t know. Anyways, that’s great!

That is the PERFECT follow up. Wow. You are going to Japan!? You are so lucky! Luxury or work? Either way, I have always wanted to go to Japan. I hope your trip goes smoothly! Love the detailed colors! You are amazing. I am honestly REALLY enjoying this comic.

Eh, either! I decided to drop everything and try living there, I got the working-holiday visa and will try to make some connections during the 1 year stay, possibly find work. If succeed I’m going to stay in Japan (Tokyo or Fukuoka most likely).
And thanks! Hearing this makes me all fluffy inside \(-ㅂ-)/ ♥ ♥ ♥

I wish I’d been able to catch the extra side comics. But I’ve been away for about a week and a half on some business and haven’t had a chance to get online. 🙁
OOC, do you plan on eventually adding the side story to this site after you finish drawing all of them?

    • NotImportant Reply

Ah, that’s a bummer… I will add them! I want to finish the side story first, though. Then I’ll add the current one to the site (all at once) and start something new~!

Oh man. What if everyone (or almost everyone) in camp is dead, and everything destroyed, except that one tent. Every one of those people in there would be Ada’s servant until their dying day. Seriously, it would really drive home just how much they owe her (and Rob too, but mostly Ada).

Just stop thinking about stressing out, then there is a big chace you wont at the last moment 😉
Definitiv crossing my fingers and hoping that everything works out fine – what am i talking of course it will.

Realy liking this and the next page, but there is something i was wondering:
The now destroyed camp… Do these demons only stay a limited time in this realm? Or will this be answered somewhere down the road and for the moment its just a spoiler 😉

    • NotImportant Reply

It’s not really a spoiler or anything although it will be said in a couple of pages: when everyone’s dead there is no reason for the demons to stay. They move around, searching for survivors. They finished their job here (well, mostly).
And thank you! I’m pretty sure everything we’ll be okay but I just hate moving around with a huge luggage, ugh… =_=

      • NiWo21k Reply

Ah, ok that makes sense – at first i realy thought they just appear and disappear at random (becuase of some of the pages where they were sudenly there) but when they roam freely trough the land then this answers my question 🙂

And moving huge luggage is just painfull – i feel with you 🙁

        • NotImportant Reply

They can appear suddenly as well (and in a closed space too), captain from before talked about this. Annoying bunch!

Y’know, that’s almost a perfect connection, especially when combined with the Alt text.

Okay, only I would get the reference, because it connects to one of my stories, but meh. 😛

      Allow me to elaborate:
Wally is the English name of the man in stripes, in Germany (where I am from), he’s called ‘Walter’.
And, as it so happens, ‘Walter’, is also the name of a very important character of my story ‘Anti-Zombie’.
And, to top it all off, Walter is believed to be dead for the longest time in the story. 😛

      I’ll…shut up now. 😀
      But really, funny coincidence. 🙂

They are currently mostly on the Patreon and I post them as vote incentives too (I always post a message on Twitter when I do). The extra story will be added here to the site once it’s finished. You can vote to see how the latest one looks like 😉

NI, did you happen to get the name of this comic from “Save a Prayer”, by Duran Duran?

    • NotImportant Reply

It’s just one word, come on… =_=’ And it’s not a terribly bright title either, when you know the reason for it.

Wait a minute! Who’s Wally? Is that the Pizza Delivery Guy?
I thought that this was Laura’s brother Kasper. I don’t see him in the tent anywhere.

Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
    And I say it’s all right …

    • Klorix Camp dweller Reply

No… there are no bodies lying around … No … not half the camp has been destroyed … No … all the people are not dead … My friends are ok …

      We can try, can’t we…
