Lost in thought

Greetings from Hakodate! I’m dead tired after laboring through wind and snow all weekend so let me just give you this page, encourage you to check two next one on Patreon (which are way more fun) and see you guys next week, hopefully. Next week’s page might be either late or early cause I’ll be in transit: Sapporo -> Tokyo -> Seattle

I think Stefen is too hard to himself because as I see it, every picture – if with much or little details – is already more than they had the whole time.
Sometimes you will see the important things later when you take a second or third look 😉

And I still stand by it: That last panel is just beautiful – could be a nice picture for a tea commercial 😀

If only she didn’t look so sad in it, you might be right about the commercial.
I will admit that it is a beautiful panel though.

Not that we are used to anything less from NI. 😉

But this could work, don’t forget how many companies tell you that you feel better after drinking tea 😉
And no I am not talking about the ones with a little “extra” added ^^

        Absolutely 🙂

I’m a little surprised that they were able to come up with a working camera with film anyway.
I thought these day everybody just used digital cameras and smart phones.

Come to speak of it, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone with a smartphone yet.
I guess the reception kinda died with everyone else though, so I guess that makes sense.

But if those photos are from a film camera, wouldn’t he need utensils to develop them?
    Or are they actually polaroids?

Eh, I’m probably worrying too much, Stefen’s a smart guy, it shouldn’t be a problem for him to come up with something.
I mean, he probably just got the utensils required for development the same way he got the utensils for making tea.

And because ‘film’ probably isn’t in quite as much demand as for example food, water and weapons right now, my guess would be that it would be rather easy to procure more of it, if they manage to scavenge an actual settlement.

I’m glad that you are enjoying your trip.
But don’t go overexerting yourself, you don’t want to break down from ‘overrelaxation’, right? 😉

If you check the last few pages of the first chapter Laura found a polaroid camera then and even took some pictures of the group. Stefen is talking about the very same camera.

A smartphone would work perfectly fine for taking pictures even without reception… Though they’d need a way to charge it now and then. Apparently the camp’s supplies didn’t contain a single portable solar panel?…

    Beautiful!

The problem with being lost in thought is that it seems like familiar territory until, all of a sudden, it isn’t. Be most careful, Nina.

Can see the pitch for this in Britain: Demons, magic, and cameras Oh My. But don’t worry, the tea is still Okay.
