Being optimistic

Ada’s not too optimistic but still enjoying herself, just look at that lovely smile~ Robert’s having the time of his life too. Ah, the joys of a world raided by demons!

As you know, I’ve been sick the whole previous week but I managed to have a lot done over the weekend. Replay is not behind and updates will continue without any delay, I managed to sketch out a chunk of the next scene (which will be the last one for this chapter) and also some short comics for the side story! So I hope you are ready for some serious voting this week, vote incentives will be updated every day, I’ll post a notice on Twitter when that happens ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ All the additional comic pages will be also posted on Patreon.

I have no idea how you even manage to keep Replay on the 1st place of TWC but I’m super grateful! Thank you for your support!

And a bit for those interested in my personal life: I bought plane tickets, booked an apartment in Tokyo and next weekend I’m going to try and get the one-year long visa. In a month and a few days I’ll be in Japan, trying to figure out my life once again! Exciting times~! We are almost done with renovating the apartment so the next biggest challenge will be to pack my whole life into a luggage bag.

I can see her finally finishing up and Robert tapping her on the shoulder to show her the mountain of demons he killed while she was casting.

Well, I planned for “every weekday” actually, but I’ve got the one for tomorrow ready!

Oh Ada is always thinking positive 😀 – But i love how Rob is struggeling in the background.

And about “1st place of TWC” – You are making such a great comic is it really that surprising – thats how your fanbase wants to repay you 😉

And i wish you much luck with your move – i know how that feels (i moved in my younger years three times around the globe, and my parents just moved back to germany 3 years ago).

Thank you! It’s really stressing but it can’t kill me I suppose. Additional luck is much appreciated though!

Like i said, i know how it is 😉
But as long you dont fall into a panic state at some point everything will work out fine – ok maybe the first few days can get a little tricky, but i believe you will overcome them 😉

    Regarding the latest VI:
That’s me in my younger years, alright. 😀
Mostly because I’m a night owl by nature though and as such liked to stay up late. 😉

Not as of late though, kid and work put a very effective stop to that habit. XD
Chances are that she forgot the umbrella and jacket though. 😉

Ah yeah, though this is just my personal preference: I like to have breakfast first and brush my teeth after eating. 😉

Regarding the ‘We are so going to die’…that’s actually a thought my current MCs have a lot.
But they still keep on struggling and fighting, even if it’s just to see another day.
Cause you know, you can still give up on life once you’re dead but not any sooner! 🙂

Hm, I wonder if having protagonists in hopelessly outmatched situations is a common thread amongst Replay readers, because that’s the same situation my own guys are in – though admittedly there’s less conscious thought regarding “Well we’re doomed” and more general consensus that extermination of their unit is inevitable 😛

I’d say it’s something people in general like to read about – heroes in hopeless situations, doing their best and overcoming the problem, succeeding against all odds. It’s simply boring if everything goes smoothly.

That’s what everyone says; but I’m not so sure about it… I can well imagine myself enjoying a story where everything goes smooth, if it’s told well. (Can’t say for sure though, since I don’t think such a story exists in fiction…)

Yeah, I had that prob;em a lot to. I’m also a night owl, it runs in the family on both sides. I actually am more awake and alert at night than I am during the day, and I have better night vision than anyone I know. It was always a struggle to try to sleep at night, so when I got to college I started taking night classes. My GPA went up by 2 points. xD

    Next page:
    “There! All finished… It works!”
“Cool! Here I come!” Thud. “Hey! Lemme in!!!”
    “I… I can’t! I don’t know how!”
“Well, at least come out here and help me!”
    Thud. “Ow!”
“Ha! … Ha, ha… At least I’ll die laughing.”
